Client: Neil Gooding Productions | Woodward Productions
Set Designer: Simone Romaniuk
Production Manager: Tony Noble
West End and Broadway award winning show has reached Australian shores with this unique one-woman show starring Natalie Bassingthwaighte.
Woodward Productions & Neil Gooding Productions came to Scenery Makers Australia with this set design of a kitchen set in the 80's kitchen with a beach scene in Greece.
Our skilled carpenter, Darren truly enjoyed building this set as a portable kitchen which was lots of fun to see on the workshop floor. A real and usable stove & fridge were installed in this set to help the authenticity of the show.
Leo, our scenic artist was able to use his skills and apply ageing techniques to the set to give it a lived-in appearance.
The Greece scene was a unique touch, and we were able to use an existing prop from our stock and break it down and give the look of a colosseum ruins. We loved being able to use this approach for two main reasons of one - keeping the costs low for our clients and two - reusing and recycling existing pieces to keep our passion of sustainability alive in all aspects of our business.
Our very own TN is the production manager for this show and oversees the transition between locations and ensure the set is installed to perfection at each new location.
Scenery Makers Australia were honoured to be the chosen company to bring this theatrical set to life and can't wait to see it's journey across Australia.
